by avoiding the spam filters.

Here’s how…

E-mail marketing is one of many fundamental tools used by online business owners. With the use of an autoresponder like Aweber, e-mail marketing allows the business owner to communicate with his list and offer any help, product or service, with the intent that in exchange, a purchase of some type is made.

What you read above is all good and dandy, but in order for it to work , you must know some rules that apply to spam filters.

- According to a study that was conducted by Assurance Systems, on average, 15% of all e-mails sent to the addressee never arrives due to e-mails that have been red flagged by spam filters.

So in order to have 100% compliance with your friendly neighborhood spam filter, I have included some simple tips that will ensure that your e-mail marketing campaign succeeds.

Email tips to success.

1) Stay away from words that trigger spam filters.

Words like “FREE!” or “earn $” will automatically catch the attention of spam filters. Especially,  if they are in the subject line. For a list of  more words and phrases, click on the photo.

2) Keep you email in plain text format.

Some e-mail services do not allow images to be displayed automatically.

Avoid  e-mails that contain graphics and keep your e-mails in a simple text format.

3) Space your e-mail sending times.

Though there are many opinions on this, the overall consensus is that one should pace themselves when it comes to sending e-mails. Too many e-mails in short bursts can end your e-mails into the junk box.

4) Have a reputable email broadcasting platform

The e-mail platform of choice for me and for so many online is Aweber .For $19/month Aweber does it all.

Aweber is probably the easiest autoresponder service. Set-up takes only a few minutes and you’ll learn how to navigate very quickly.

Aweber also has an anti- spam feature.

If your e-mail  score is in the red, it allows you to go back and tweak it. Ensuring that your email will pass all the spam filters.
