A packed autoresponder done

right means…

A start of a lovely relationship

between you and your list.

You are trying to build a list. You have your free product and have set up all the elements required to encourage your visitors to opt-in to your list. Now that you have a list you can start your relationship building process.

Develop a money producing autoresponder sequence. You need to set this up before your squeeze page has gone live and before you have started any of your marketing processes.

Remember that this is your relationship building tool and you should approach this part of the exercise with a view that everything you offer to your opt-in list is of benefit to the members of your list.

With this approach you will be able to more easily focus on what is good for your customer and offer products and advice that is important to them rather than what will make you a lot of money.

The money will follow if your list of people start to trust you. They will come to trust you if they realize that you have their best interests at heart.

Ways to provide value.

1) Articles

A great way to provide value to your opt-in list. Special articles with a focus on information and advice that your list can use and that can possibly be of value as money making opportunities.

2) Video and Audio links

You need to make your list feel special and that they are the only ones benefiting from the attention you are giving them. You can of course include these media components in your emails. But you should always be aware that some of your members might not have easy access to a quick internet service.

You may also want to offer your list early bird specials to products that you are compiling. You might want to give them offers on products and services offered by other internet marketers. Always try and give your list value with everything you introduce them to.

Selling to your list

Except for a crushingly wonderful offer, it would be better to provide less obvious buying opportunities. Rather, include links to promotions and products via content that you send through.

This means that you can provide free reports, articles, blog posts, videos and audios on a topic that might include affiliate links to products that you discuss and recommend. Be sure to have tried these products and are convinced that they will be of benefit to your list members.

You can prepare ‘How to’ reports where you teach your list how to do something. During this valuable course you may demonstrate and promote a tool that can make the work life of your member’s so much easier. In other words the product you are promoting is something of value to your members rather than just a money making racket.

It’s recommended that you offer 75% content with a maximum of 25% of your message being used to pitch a product or service. It might even be more appropriate to send through less sales pitches. Your list will let you know.

If you push too many products you will find them unsubscribing at a rapid rate. Best you don’t let that happen as it costs you a lot of time, and in some instances money, to build your list.

Remember, it is far easier and cheaper to keep you existing members on your list  than acquiring new ones.

Dedicated to your success!
