Guilty.
I’ve gotten okay at building my own websites now, but I’ve had a LOT of really terrible sites I’ve put out there.
I learned through trial-and-error (good), but have lost thousands of visitors probably by having a ‘fugly’ page they landed on (even after they find me through poor SEO!).
I agree with you – it’s far better to pay someone to get you a quality page right up front, and then learn as you go on the back end.

Excellent post!
Far too many people play up how ‘easy’ it is to earn online at home.
And we’re being sabotaged by companies promoting they’ll “build your donwline FOR you”.
Building a legitimate home-based business is rewarding, but it requires EFFORT and the humility to know that YOU and YOUR HABITS are what need to change to be successful!
