Hey guys, Willie Plasencia here from Palm City Florida, wishing you good health and all the success. Today, I would like to talk about affiliate marketing and share with you how I am able able to sell and make extra money with affiliate programs. So read on and add your 2 sense at the end. Who knows , you may learn something.

Definition of affiliate marketing:

Affiliate marketing is process of selling other people’s products or services and then getting paid for each sale.

Just like any brick and mortar business an affiliate marketer is given the same opportunity of selling products online to anyone who may be interested.  With the use of free services like WordPress, Blogger, Squidoo, Ezine to name a few, you are literally given a free website to promote a service , tool or any product you like.

Before you say that this looks easy to do , let me tell you from experience,  that this is furthest from the truth. In order to become a successful affiliate marketer there are certain considerations that I feel you will need to understand in order to have some success online.

Affiliate Marketing Tips to success.

1) Niche rhymes with rich.

Focus on a certain niche. This will  allows you to have a slice of the bigger market. With my blog, for example,  I am able to make money online using  several niches with the search terms I  use in  all of my posts. My posts,  full of researched keywords, helps connect me with potential customers.

2) Where do I go for Products?passive-income-topics-closer-look

If you are an online marketer and have bought products online, it is fair to say that the chances of the business offering an affiliate program are high. This works very well especially when you are happy with the product and would gladly recommend it  to others. Other places where you can actually go to select products to promote is ClickBank and Commission Junction.

3) Be careful with what you promote.

Using my blog as an example, I only promote products that I know come from reputable companies. I also only promote products that I have personally bought and used. For me this is very important.

I am able to give all my products an honest review and proudly post banners of the products with no concern of any of my readers thinking that all I want to do is make a fast buck.

Let me make this clear. My intentions are to still provide value with my writing. If I am able to please the reader he or she may then have no problem with clicking one of my banners. Remember, you must earn the right for someone to even consider what you have.

4) How do I get people to my site?

You are looking at it. As of this writing I have 2 blogs. Each of these blogs are  fishing poles  into the ocean of the internet. By providing content of value , I am not only promoting my blogs, I am also able to promote Willie Plasencia.

Since, I am not able to please every reader I do my best to provide valuable information. The only cost on my side is time and how I get paid for the time is by  a sale of a product.

Another method I use to promote my affiliate programs is by PPC or Pay- Per- Click Marketing. I do not recommend you jump on this method until you have learned the basics. Though this is an affective way to drive traffic to your affiliate website, keep in mind that this is not a free service. You will be charged for every click.

What you have read so far will help you get the ball rolling. If there is one guy that I recommend you should subscribe to, it is Jim Chow. This guy is incredible.
