Network marketing
advantages and disadvantages.
Here is my list…
I sat down in front of this computer today and said to myself, “what could I possibly write about that could provide value to my reader”?
I pondered this thought awhile and decided that today I would do something different.
Instead of writing ‘how to’s’ etc, I am going to allow you into my world and let you see what my true feelings are about network marketing.
I have been a network marketer for about a year and a half and understand that I am still considered a newbie in the industry.
And…in the short time I have been involved network marketing, I have already experienced the ups and downs of the industry.
So I can say, with confidence, I have come to some conclusions on the advantages and disadvantages of being a network marketer.
DISCLAIMER: For starters, let me make this clear. I am a true believer of network marketing and support the fact that in order to achieve true financial freedom, one must be an entrepreneur and venture into the capitalistic world of becoming your own boss.
Network Marketing Advantages
1) Do you like challenges
Does doing the same thing day in and day out bore you? Well, then I definitely recommend you consider network marketing. Not only will you learn the art of multi-tasking, you will also learn the art of being real good in each task that you do.
Aside from the fact that you will be faced with challenges each day, like learning how to network with other people and how to market you and y0ur business, network marketing is very self empowering.
You will grow stronger and more confident about yourself.
2) What, your time is precious?
If network marketing does one thing for person , it is that it gives a person the freedom to decide when they want to work. If waking up early is not your thing or hustling to work each day irritates you.
I suggest you look into a network marketing career. Your able to set the work hours and so you can be with the ones you love most.
3) I’m the boss!
Your the man now. You answer to know one (except your wife). Sounds too good to be true, but it is. As you become a business owner, you work for yourself and have others work for you (residual income).
Build your team and become a strong leader. You will have huge return of dividends.
Disadvantages to Network
Marketing (Reality Check)
1) Can’t get motivated? Lost that spark?
A common condition that we network marketers all go through. As the excitement of our business wanes. Our business now becomes a business.
We start to postpone events, calls, deadlines, goals that we were sure we were going to achieve and so on. I have to constantly tell myself that in order to achieve the ultimate prize, I must earn it, want it and work my ass off for it!
2) I need help!
Get this straight. You will need help in one form or another.
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP!
Put your pride aside and make this very clear to yourself. If you are stuck and need help, find a way to get the help and move on.
You are at the helm now and your business needs to succeed. Find the support and use it to your advantage. Admit to your weaknesses and find a resource to assist you in those areas.
3) Not connecting with other entrepreneurs?
Say what! How are you supposed to succeed in anything if you are not hanging with others who have demonstrated success? Did you become a great baseball player without joining a baseball team? Need I say more?
Network marketing is all about connecting and being the most social guy in the room. PROMOTION…PROMOTION…PROMOTION!
Guys, take it from me, I could write a book on this subject. I just want you all to understand that you are not alone. I have experienced the lows and highs of being a business owner and all I can say is that it has made be a better, stronger person.
It will make you one as well.
Where ever you may be in your network marketing venture remember what your ultimate goal is…
THE PRIZE!
Dedicated to your success!
Feel free to call me anytime. I would be glad to help.

Great blog post, Willie. I so agree with you. Specially number 3. Some people think they can do it by themselves and that they do not need help. I used to be like that. lol
